The curriculum is made up of the DP core and six subject groups. The three core elements in the IBDP core subjects are:
The Theory Of Knowledge, where students reflect on the nature of knowledge and on how we know what we claim to know.
The Extended Essay, which is an independent, self-directed piece of research, leading to a 4,000-word paper.
Creativity, Activity, Service, where students complete projects that nurture them into well-rounded learners.

Fairview was awarded the top 50 IB school globally and the top IB school in Malaysia in 2020. Fairview’s grades have been consistently high for the last 6 years, all published on its website. You will not find a more highly recognised school that runs the IB Diploma Programme than Fairview. Fairview IB Diploma Programme is accredited by the IB every five years and our last evaluation visit was in 2019.
The programme runs physically from 7.30am to 3.30pm everyday from Monday to Friday. However, during the pandemic, classes have continued without interruption, online.
