The Fairview Falcon Programme (FFP) is a character-building programme designed to nurture young learners to be strong-willed, independent, and courageous.
The FFP is designed to provide significant well-rounded character-building and values development experiences for all from Primary Year 4 to Middle Year 5 students.
Students are motivated to participate in school activities that will ultimately allow them to achieve the Fairview Falcon Awards!
The programme:
Students are taught to embrace and understand connections between traditional subjects and the real world so that they become critical and reflective thinkers. Eight subject groups are integrated with five areas of interaction, creating a framework for learning within and across these subjects:
These subjects are then organized in the curriculum through 5 areas of interaction:
By embracing these dimensions, students will be better equipped to manage the complexities and spontaneity life presents to them.
The programme has dedicated activities like Falcon Day and Training Camps. It also integrates with all school activities like international expeditions, Service as Action, Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) International Award, etc. Achieving the DofE International Award will give students the skills they need to future-proof themselves, increase confidence, develop outdoor skills, and give them an edge in the race for university places.
